Founded on Integrity
Started in 1985 by an industry veteran, Quality Builders Warranty
Corporation was founded on the principles of integrity. As a
result of our integrity and steadfast screening QBW has posted positive
growth every year since inception. We are backed by Liberty Mutual, one of the largest property and casualty
insurance companies in the United States. Our strong relationship
with Liberty Mutual has been a result of our selectivity and stability.
QBW is the only warranty program operating with backing by a nationally
licensed third-party insurer of this size.
The new home warranty industry began in the United States in 1975 as
a method to restore integrity to the homebuilding industry. The concept
was borrowed from England, where a government-run program
has watched over homebuilding for decades. In the U.S., the federal
legislature’s pending regulations were avoided with the creation of a
warranty industry that would do business with only the best homebuilders.
Although several companies in this industry have strayed from those
principles during the past 30 years, QBW has maintained the original
intent of the industry by continuing to do business with only those
builders who hold the highest standards of quality construction and
customer service. As a result of maintaining our industry’s purpose,
we have been recognized as the most selective 10-year warranty program
in the industry.
